When i was doing my training to be a chiropodist part of the course was anatomy which involved real human leg dissection. The thigh part was very fatty and buttery looking (gross sounding i know) but the other flesh everywhere else was pionk like pork. In fact very much like pork. If you've seen documentaries on cannabalistic populations in certain parts of the world, they also say that the human flesh is pork like.
Dont know why you'd want to know this but hey ho each to their own little idiosyncrasies eh?

Apparently cannibals say it tastes closest to pork- one of the names for human flesh is long-pig. The type of muscles that we have, and the work they do mean it would be a red meat, so don't get any ideas, it's bad for your cholesterol.

don't you know we're 'long pigs'? Therefore the old question comes up - is pork a red or white meat?
I suspect if you take a slice off your arm and put it under the grill your meal will turn whitish under the heat but your arm will remain very red...
