I'm graduating for a Diploma in a weeks time and I don't know what to wear, can you please help?

I was told to wear a gown, a cap and a hood to the graduation ceremony. In addition to the gown and cap, I was initially thinking of wearing my usuall casual clothes consisting of a pair of jeans and a T-shirt, but my sister says otherwise and she is right. Sinse I don't own any formal clothing like a suit, shirts, ties and formal trousers, she told me to buy a suit, T-shirt and a tie. I don't know, what should I buy? I'm a tall fellow and I'm 22 yrs old, wonder if that will help.

dress pants ,dress shirt (not regular tee) and tie is perfect for under your gown and after pictures and great for an after party...so go looking sharp, i bet you will glow..congradulations
