In March of this year my dad and I went to a convenient store. When we walked out of the store we seen a woman backing up in our truck. We both rushed out to stop her I went through the window and grabbed her she hit the gas and my Dad.My dad has severe brain injurys. We went to court the other day and they told us that the woman was crazy so they did not do anything to her.The judge said take it to civil court.I get in trouble I have to go to jail and pay fines, she don't even get a slap on the wrist. The judge also said that it would only be a misdermenor if she was charged with anything, and the prosocuter didn't think it was worth it.IF STEALING A TRUCK IS A MISDERMENOR,I SAY WE ALL GO GET A NEW ONE FIRST CHANCE WE GET!!!!
Some of you might say it is a racial thing but I don't think so,the black person got away.

ok well you are right the system is f***ed up how about this for the tables being turned last Easter my hubby got jumped by a black guy he was set up and the guy hit him with a metal pipe in the back of the head and he went to the ground blacked out and got stumped to the ground ok messed up enough now we are from the south and to tell you the truth that is ground for a beat down well we had to call the cops and take him to the hospital for being hit in the head with a metal pipe anywayz we did everything by the freakin book it was many a nights we were going to sneak over there and blow his effin brains to the wind but we didn't so we are in court and this bastard go in front of the judge and tells him that my hubby called him the N-word and that all he does is go to work and go home and the effin white boy comes to his house startin crap now by looking at your confederate flag you may not agree with this and if you don't o well but I'm black and he is white and it would make no sense for the judge to believe that he would call a black person that hello I'm black half his family is black but to make this short and sweet the judge was white and don't you know the black boy got off scott free no nothing and not to mention this was his 4th strike against his probabtion how does that work they turned it into a race issue and the boy got off I think what it is they are up for reelection so they try to win the black vote when clearly these people should be locked up any other time they would have gotten her for attempted theft and endangering bystanders or something but they are trying to look good to black people F that I'm with you where is the justice that is crap hey if you live in Florida you could of killed that b**** b/c if the state if Florida if you feel your life is in danger you can shoot someone now this so called crazy b**** which she was probably cracked up on crack they always use crazy so they can get off was taking your truck so there for she was forcing you to thrust yourself into your truck to recover your properity now if she had slung you out that is putting your life in danger right ok ground 1 (shoot that b****) and two I'm very sorry to hear about your father and I hope you don't hate all black people b/c of this me writing you this long essay should prove to you we are't all the same I'm on your side 100% and two she put your father's life in danger ground two (shoot that b****) but you know what like I said that is the law here and if you were here and you had done it they would of came up with some way to say well you weren't really in danger blah blah blah I just find comfort in the fact that when someone does you wrong weither it be the b**** that hurt your daddy or the judge who kissed her on the cheek and sent her off to smoke more crack something like that will happen to them and they will realize they done f***ed up what if that had been the judge's daddy you think he would of said well they were crazy F no he would of had that b**** in the electric chiar by noon no doubt ~~~~again sorry about your daddy and screw all that bs everybody else is talking why did you do this and why did you do that I tell you what they don't know how it is in the south some one steals your car and the cops are just like I'll get right on that right after I get a cop of coffee and a donut screw that they would have done the same thing if they were in the situation so don't listen to that crap if someone was taking my car I would do what I had to do to keep it unless they had a gun and I couldn't get to mine then they can have it but best believe when they pull out I will wait til they get up the road and shoot the gas tank mofo's if I aint going to have my car neither are you lol

Did you leave the truck running with the keys in it? I'm not saying everything or ANYthing is your fault if you did. It's just that this factor may have influenced the way the judge handled the case.
Don't lose faith in the justice system yet. You should consult a lawyer on the civil suit. Look for a law firm that also does some criminal law. Even if the woman is penniless, and a civil suit is impractical, you can discuss what happened in the traffic or criminal court. Be sure to get a copy of the police report, and discuss all the facts of the case with the lawyer. The result you got just doesn't make sense, something is missing from this story. For your peace of mind, if nothing else, I think you need to figure out why the judge reacted as he did, and you certainly need to check the possiblity of a civil suit. I hope your dad continues to recover.

Why does it matter if she was "black" or not? It was the fact that she got away with it that's the problem. I feel for you, and hope the best for your father. You can sue her estate and win, if she has any money. If she is crazy, maybe it's because she's been living in a racist hell of the south, and that caused her insanity, which, then came back to haunt you. PS, your flag was defeated in 1865. You have my sympathy for your father though, that's never good.

It was only a truck,a object. That's what the police are for. It's their job and thier TRAINED. Doesn't make sense that your dad would put himself in harms way(it could be worse, she might have a had a gun and used it). You witness the crime, there;s areal good chance she would have been caught without your dad doing what he did. The outcome is terrible for you guys worst of all. Instead of having to deal with disapointment in the legal system, you have that AND physical injury issues. And I bet she doesn't have a thing to sue for too. I'm sorry, I'm not unsympatheic but better choices could have been made.

I feel for you, you must be supremely angry. What happened to criminal negligence or criminal damage?
How is you father doing? If deep inside you are feeling that in some way it was your fault that he got hurt because you didn't manage to stop her from hitting the gas, it wasn't.
Take some really good legal advice. Maybe someone can come up with a better solution for you.

asserting “nature constantly heals itself” if a thought. possibly you should hearken to that from “Gaia sort vegetables”, the “fool varieties” that stay in a dream, have faith in fairies and gnomes and might sign any petition that announces ban this or ban that with out even understanding what they are doing. besides the fact that, in case you check out the “great image” the Universe itself continues to be evolving, this might comprise our image voltaic gadget and the planet on which we live. Nature does have a thank you to “stability itself out”, nature is consistently changing and attempting to prevail in equilibrium, this is often undertaking to reacting and in specific cases in a notably effectual way. The thought that ‘issues will return to ordinary’ is imprecise, because of the fact there is this sort of undertaking as “returning to ordinary”, because of the fact that “ordinary” is stressful to outline in connection with our planet, there'll constantly be differences and reactions to differences whether the reason for those differences are of organic or anthropogenic origins. as properly AGW is basically the tip of the iceberg, and regrettably overpopulation is a reason for differences that impression on earth's ressources. it is no longer relaxing to contemplate besides the fact that this is a factor of the actuality of the cases wherein we live. Your question purely addresses a Gaia thought gadget/faith. besides the fact that I preserve that there is a definite "dogma" interior climate technology community, the place anybody that dares to question AGW is seen 'heretic'.

Sorry for you. This is what insurance is for--to cover loses you sustain, because you cannot expect the party at fault to be sane and financially responsible.
Why did your dad go near the path of the truck? Was he trying to stop a vehicle, with his body? That was not very rational, you know.

I`m sorry for you dad. I am not American so I can tell you that for the rest of the world this situation is not surprising at all. We all see that there is a racism against white people in your country and the hypocrisy of your politicians trying to get more minority votes. I feel sorry for your `democratic` society.

sorry to hear about your lose. But anyone who can claim they are not accountable for their action will receive a pass. Sadly government and legislation is not out there to be the great equalizer or the champion of the people. The laws are to blame, the so are the people who create them. Politicians are accountable in my view for not only there actions but their inaction's as well.
