Yes I am too, but it was just his time to go. His death was from a passive sea animal who rarely stings anyone, and then it gets him in the heart. They say that he was not stressing the stingray, but yet, it is the only time it gets angry in the strike position, is when it is stressed or agitated by someone. He was merely swimming along side of it, but guess it just decided to strike him. It just had to be his time to go, due to him being so close to death so many other times when he was with really killers, and to die like this. It does not make any other sense. His time was up, mate. I am just so sorry, and he wanted people to see his death, no thanks.

I'm sad, not upset. Steve was a good 'CROC HUNTER' character who tried to show people about his love for nature, and pass that knowledge on to us 'normal' folks. I think he had the passion that everyone looks for and wants to have!

Yeah a bit, as much as "Crikey!" annoyed me it'll be sad not hearing it anymore, and he was a great ambassador for animal rights in our country. What a way to go though, doing what he loves. Our thoughts are with Terri, Bindy and Bob

My daughter will greatly miss him; she watched his show all the time. I feel bad for his wife and children. He seemed like such a caring husband and loving father. He made learning fun for our children, heck I even enjoyed watching his show; he was a true entertainer and teacher. He will be sadly missed by many!!

My sympathy goes out to his family. He was fun to watch, even though I thought that he was crazy. He was a good conservationist.
