Life without dreams and ideals is nothing more than an existance. Would you rather exist or live? Life is striving to achieve more than you thought you could, doing things you thought you couldn't, making connections for a second or for eternity. Existance is about just eating, sleeping, breathing, and surviving with nothing more.

First I've got to say: The military DOES HAVE IDEALS, just not the kind that parasites would understand.
Now to the question: In and of itself, life has no meaning beyond what you give it. But give it SOMETHING and make the most of it or you'll be more miserable than you have to be.

Dull, drudging,, and probably, not worth it. It's the dreams that gives us the motivation to get through all the daily chores,, so we can have fun! Dreams rule!
