The instructions below are for reducing the size of images using Microsoft Paint and Microsoft Photo Editor.
Microsoft Paint
1. Click on the Start Menu
2. Select All Programs
3. Select Accessories
4. Click on Paint
5. Click on File and then Open
6. When the Open Dialog Box appears locate the file you wish to reduce and click the Open button
7. With the image displayed in the Paint program click on the Image menu option and then click on Stretch/Skew
8. The Stretch/Skew window has two options in the Stretch section Horizontal and Vertical
9. Enter a number less than 100 into both the Horizontal and Vertical fields
10. Be sure to enter the same number into both fields.
11. Entering different numbers will change the shape of the image.
12. Repeat steps 7 - 10 until the desired image size is achieved
13. Do not make the image larger than the sample image below
14. To save the image Click File
15. Click Save As
16. Name the file in the File Name field
17. Select JPEG(*.JPG, *.JPEG, *.JPE, *.JFIF) in the Save As Type field
18. Click Save button
Microsoft Photo Editor
If you have Microsoft Office installed on your computer you have the option of using Microsoft Photo Editor
1. Click on the Start Menu
2. Select All Programs
3. Select Microsoft Office Tools
4. Click on Microsoft Photo Editor
5. Click on File and then Open
6. When the Open Dialog Box appears locate the file you wish to reduce and click the Open button
7. With the image displayed in the Photo Editor program click on the Image menu option and then click on Resize
8. In the Resize window make sure the Allow Distortion checkbox is unchecked
9. Use the down arrow on the Width or Height fields to change the 100 to a smaller number.
10. Repeat steps 7 - 9 until the desired image size is achieved
11. Do not make the image larger than the sample image below
12. To save the image Click File
13. Click Save As
14. Name the file in the File Name field
15. Select JPEG File Interchange Format(*.jpg, *.jpeg) in the Save As Type field
16. Click Save button

you can resize jpegs using MS Paint---the one that comes with the installation of Windows.
1. Open the file
2. Click on File
3. Choose Page Setup
4. Under the group Scaling choose Adjust to:
5. Change 100% to any percentage you want your picture to be resized
6. Save

dude, all u wanna do is to make the file size of your jpg files smaller .
do u have adobe photoshop
if u dont have get it NOW ! its a "must-have" software
and if u hav adobe photoshop, do the following
open adobe photoshop
click file =>open
and then open ur jpg file from its location
then file=>save as
then choose the file type to jpg (it is psd by default)
and save the file .
u may overwrite the exixting file or save it into a new file
after you do that, u will get a box showing jpg save options , there is a slidebar in it to change the file quality
reduce it to the desired value.... thats all
but remember, u are sacrificing the quality

Use a photo editor to resize.
I used Paintshop Pro from Corel when I was doing my Web Design course at college. It was a free trial.

U need a photo program that will resize them for u, like PaintShop Pro. go get a free trial for 30 day.

Change the Resolution to 800x600 and to 72 DPI u will get the file around 150 kb

their is programs to resize try to down load a program on znet . I forgot the name of one I downloaded and works great and its a freeware
microsoft also has a free download utilities and one of them actually does that with a simple click on the pick you can resize it ..

jus reduce the size of the pics..... for doin this, u hav many softwares..... n u can even do dis in MS Office Picture Manager, Adobe Photo Shop, etc.. etc.....
