I was told to wear a gown, a cap and a hood to the graduation ceremony. In addition to the gown and cap, I was initially thinking of wearing my usuall casual clothes consisting of a pair of jeans and a T-shirt, but my sister says otherwise and she is right. Sinse I don't own any formal clothing like a suit, shirts, ties and formal trousers, she told me to buy a suit, T-shirt and a tie. I don't know, what should I buy? I'm a tall fellow and I'm 22 yrs old, wonder if that will help.

Wear what you like and what you feel comfortable in. Remember that there will be lots of proud relatives taking photographs so make sure you are happy to look at your outfit in years to come. Your 'academic robes' will cover most of you anyway.
