I've just downloaded Smiley Central but Spybot and Windows Defender both seem to class it as spyware.Is it safe to have on my computer or should I uninstall it?

I would leave it alone if I were you..

I had a problem with it myself and spybot kicked it off my computer but I have heard some horrer stroies about it.

Keep it and what do you gain

Delete it what have you lost

Smiley Central puts the MyWebSearch and/or FunWebSearch spyware on your computer. Smiley Central does not consider this as spyware and therefore allows for easy removal of the spyware. Go to Add/Remove Programs and find one or both of the above and uninstall it.

Smiley Central's website has the removal instructions. This is legit removal.

You can use polar smiley centers like yahoo or msn or refereed by them. Dont take a risk with others. Those may content virus.

i have smiley central and have no problems ,i also have anti spy and it has never come up with anything saying spyware on my computer.

that's finished of undercover agent ware believe me do not get carry of any smylies from it. are not you experiencing unexpected pop-united statesand susceptible and gradual pc performance? believe me that's all spyware that no human being recommends on a pc

That would be because it IS spyware. So get rid of it.

I would get rid of it. It will slow down your system, Its true you get nothing for nothing these days
