buddy you need to do job hunting through online career sites and write to organisations that are based out of your choicest destination.

First of all you need to apply for a work permit. Without this you can work but remember it will be illegal and if caught you are either depoted or jailed.

You need to realise that the rate of unemployment in nairobi is very high and unless you can convience an employer that you are the best candidate, you will have little success of getting employement. The best way to getting your CV notice is to randomly send them to various firms, most of them are keeping database in to save money on advertising and time for sourcing for the best candidates.

They are job hunting institution like manpower and job link that can source employment for you. They do charge a fee and they have specific format on how you should present your CV. All in all like any other place, you should learn about the current job market

Either open your business online now (and learn what their computer capabilities are there in Nairobi) or wait till you get there to see what's there and try to fit in, or find out where their city tourist agency is and write or call them and ask for brochures so you can see what kinds of things are there that you can market. Usually organizations like this will send you the city's statistics, the names (addresses and phones) of utilities and large companies in their area, etc. and you can get your itinerary in order as to which of them you will be contacting once you get there.

Get training and get a skill such as head hunting (as in, "Look Mawamatu! White meat!"). Let me guess, you met a Nairobi broad online and you are in love and you are going there to live every lie she told you. Awabunda!
