I am a makeup expert, trained by modeling schools and theatre.

Use a loose translucent powder with a large makeup brush after applying foundation. Then blusher, then powder again.

Make sure you cleanse, tone and moisterize skin before applying make up. Then after applying put a damp not wet rag over your face and this will keep it from MELTING is what I call it, old stage trick, those lights are hot LOL.

My favorite brand is mary kay, they also will demonstrate and teach how to apply and use the right colors, and show you how to apply the make up. Well worth the cost. And it's good for your skin more so than other products.
Hope I helped.

You're getting some interesting advice...photography makeup is different than stage makeup or everyday makeup due to the flash.

Foundation advertised as containing sunscreen or any light-reflecting ingredients and powder will both reflect the light from a photographer's flash making your face look paler than it really is. Avoid these both!!

If you know you're having pictures taken, use a foundation without sunscreen and don't use powder. You'll probably get BareMinerals fans telling you to use that but it's the absolute worst for photos...it's a powder with sunscreen and it's full of mica which makes it sparkle and reflect light. A triple whammy!

I use Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation for photo shoots and it looks great on camera. Lancome has a mousse foundation also, but L'Oreal owns both companies so they're pretty similar!

I have this problem and that's because I have very oily skin (which is not a problem for you, as you have stated). This could have something to do with the brand of foundation you are using (is it oil free?). Try switching to a different brand of foundation (I would highly recommended dior matte foundation - been using this for years and it's the only foundation that doesn't make me oily and breakout at the end of the day). Also keep a pack of oil blotting papers in your purse and use it to blot away the shine before taking pictures. Also spritzing your face with mineral based water can help set your makeup better and help you avoid the shine.

Good luck!

Use an oil free soap and apply a matt finish coating of foundation and compact on ur face when u move out.if u have a problem with ur photos that ur face looks too shiny in snaps then before clicking dab ur face with powder or compact.this would also give u a fresh look.

Try using a little make up powder or baby powder before you take pictures. It really does take away the shine. Try to prevent using soaps to dry out your skin. Your skin will only become more oily after drying it out...Remember, a little oil on your skin reduces ageing, so consider it a blessing :)

It could be that you have a very oily (or oily-looking) skin

Im not going to try suggest certain products to use, because im no expert, but i WILL suggest that you go to a dermatologist and ask advise for a product that will make your skin appear less oily!

Good luck sweety

If your face is oily Be Thankful!!! Because when you get older you will have fewer wrinkles.

Foundation will cause your face to be oily. try using just powder.
