my ram is 0.99GB and CPU is 299ghz and 299ghz

I don't think there is an average ram. A lot of people have 256 MB's of Ram, but our computer came with 512 and as you see somebody already has almost a gb of it. The newer the computers, the bigger the hard drives, the faster the processing speed --- I think they are into ghz's now and the more Ram it will have. Why do you want to know?

Your ram is average and your cpu is a little above average for today....that could change in a few days!!

that's mean your PC is running at 3.0 Ghz and having 1GB of RAM
With these spec, you should be able to handle most software and programmes.
But if you're into movies and 3D games, get a better graphic card for better video display with min 128MB of video RAM.
