MANY debs were gotten into by IRRESPONSIBLE lenders and banks ripping people off with "payment protection insurance" which was not worth the paper it is written on in may cases. So DEBT RELIEF is where they will settle up for less than you supposedly "owe" them (the bank or lender). Maybe you can get 90 percent of your debt cancelled ASK THE CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU.

Well if you owe a lot of money then either someone cancels your debt or gives you some money to pay it off.
There are agencies such as citizens advice or law centres who will negotiate with creditors to arrange lower payments and sometimes reduction in debts. However they are commercial companies who advertise that they will lend you money to pay off your debts and quite often get you even deeper into more debt

when some mysterious benefactor leaves you millions of pounds in their will.....

I live in hope....!

If you need debt advice, your local Citizen's Advice Bureau will be able to help you -they can give you initial avdvice and point you in the right direction for further assistance. Basically as long as you are paying something towards your debts, they can't do anything to you. You just have to show willing and offer to pay what you can afford, not what they say you should pay.

Take care x

it's where a company tells you that they can get you out of debt by paying them a small fee-- many do it when they get too far behind on bills but if you have control you will not get in that deep
