I am going to a wedding and we want to have a hen night but Ayia Napa is too far away Is there any good bars or clubs u can recommend for a good night out?

I was there and it's a very nice place for relaxing. Paphos has a beautiful beach, and a lot of restaurants and cafe's along a main promenade. There are also few disco clubs, you can ask local people they are very friendly.
As you know Ayia Napa has the best night life but if you are going to a wedding I am sure that you will find some nice places in Paphos because you have choosed the best place to stay Cyprus!!!

I was in Paphos last week and it seemed pretty quiet at night but I can say that there were a number of bars and clubs in the Harbour area, and also if you go to the Tourist area there are some Irish pubs that get quite noisy and active at night and a bunch of cocktail bars and restaurants, most of which are open pretty late - I didn't see any large groups of people or any clubs but I wasn't looking either.
There are also a number of boat trips that do evening trips including drinks & meal from the harbour, if there's a number of you, you can rent them privately and they've got an on board bar and can sail all night so it might be worth looking at, they're not the traditional "party boats" but you might have fun!
Check around for prices too because some places were charging tourists upwards of 2.70CYP for a cocktail but if you go to the small local cocktail bars you can get cocktails as cheap as 1.20 in happy hour (which is often 6pm onwards !) and they're very generous with the alcoholic shots!
It's not a big party town but you can find some reasonabley active nightlife in loads of places - sorry I can't recommend any specific clubs, we didn't go to that many bars/clubs just walked past them or had a few cocktails in the evening and we went to a different place every night - there were that many choices!

If you go now it will probably a bit cold for swiming although brave northern Europeans may think is warm. Cypriots think its cold. The countryside is great this time of the year as its green. Very soon there will be full bloom of wild flowers. There are wine villages in the Paphos district. Go to Akamas peninsula it great. Pegeia is a nice area too. On Troodos there may be snow so u can get to see banana plantations by the beach and 1 hour later go skiing. rent a car and drive around the small villages and monasteries like Kykkos, Chrisoroyiatissa and Ayios Neofytos. Dont forget to buy Zivania from Kykkos and lokoumia from Yeroskipou.

Ayia Napa isn't a good night out anyway so nothing missed there unless you like vommit all over you. There are some nice restaurants in the Troodos Mountains, depends what you want (i.e. are you on a club 18-30 or slightly more sensible) The whole place has been redesigned for tourists. I went last year but guarantee its all changed. Go into Nicosia for a night out.

Well i live in Cyprus so i can tell you everything. Agia Napa is not good this year, it's a bad tourist season. You can always try Limmasol wich isn't too far from Paphos. Nightlife in paphos is very poor it's mostly for the older genaration (50ys-above).There are not many night clubs there anymore. Nicosia is best for night clubs. I suggest Limmasol for you and your friends! Nicosia is too far away.

Fantastic go to bar street its really buzzin with life, I was there in january when most of it was closed and it was still livley, also try coral bay just up the road from paphos its got some great bars and clubs.

There are plenty of places at "kato Paphos" in the castle area. Lots of restaurants, cafes bars etc. I think there are places for every age group.
