you can't in msword. you have to zip the file with a zip compression package.

You must first intall a zip utility. And then go to Windows Explorer try to right click your DOC file and choose zip program. Then follow the instruction or menu. See link I provide below:

If u have Win Zip Installed then only u can do it...just right click on the file and click on Add to Zip or Add to filename.zip

print DOC file as pdf , using (selecting) printer driver.
You may download pdf printer driver from the internet.

install win zip to your system first.Then with win zip u can convert all types of files into zip files. Also u can unzip them when u need.
