Yes, and 'may contain nuts' on a fruit and nut cake! Are people really that stupid, and if so, should they really be allowed to leave the house? Maybe we should put signs next to the sea saying 'Caution: may contain water'!

Better to be safe than sorry. Some people can't identify a water boiler, so they wouldn't know that it's hot.

The signs are made by the same people who make the peanut packs with the warning "may contain nuts" and Superman capes with the label "cape does not enable wearer to fly".

Like the guy who bought a motor home. He activated the cruise control and went in the back and made himself a coffee. While he was away the motor home crashed and he was badly injured. He sued the manufacturer and was awarded something like $2.5 million in compensation. He said at his instruction booklet didn't tell him he couldn´t leave the drivers seat to make a coffee while it was in cruise mode.

We all have to watch our own asses. You know, legally. Although I still maintain that it's all a result of making rules and laws rather than solving problems. Instead of telling the idiots that they're idiots we've decided to try and provide a remedial world. You know, so they don't feel alienated from the rest of the thinking world.

It was that woman who sued McDonalds for around $2 million dollars after she scalded herself with hot coffee. She had sensibly chosen to drive with the coffee in her lap. They should have fined her $2 million for crimes against common sense!

Too many idiots out there trying to make a quick buck with frivolous lawsuits. It's pathetic, I agree.
