My dear,
Taking a stand against a bad government has always been a dangerous position. But for hundreds of years, people have done so at the risk of their own lives. Many brave people have died or suffered so that their children and countrymen would have better lives. In many cases, those fine people made a true and lasting difference.
Unfortunately, the rich still always want to get richer and couldn't care less if the poor get poorer. The poor still want simply to have a decent life.
The bad news for you is that if you fight, there probably be trouble. But if you protest against unfairness and greed, other people may ultimately benefit. My heart goes out to you. God give you strength and courage.

its a complicated matter...especially in the case of iran. iran had been going through alot of turmoil since the presidency of mohammad mosadak (who was a great leader but sadly overthrown by the CIA ), then, the shah was restored (who wasnt a great leader buta huge ally of the US). then, the iraqi iranian war which as a result, 1 million were masacred. So, iran been though wars, sanctions, conflicts for a long time. so maybe you should expect her to prospire any time soon...especially that america is after it at the moment.

i believe that the majority of iranians (more than 50%) are conservative muslims, no! so, an islamic republic would represent the majority, right?
