They would think it was the conservatives, I don't know who they are anymore, they certainly don't look after the working classes.

Yes, I do, I think it is such a shame to see the Labour Party become what they have, when I had my very first go at voting in the 70's I didn't even hesitate who I was going to vote for, voting Labour was voting for the working class party, it stood by us and didn't let us down, the peoples voice was always heard by the Labour party in those days, we had unions to protect us at work, the NHS was second to none, I think the education I got in those days was much better than what the kids have today, we had better policing on the streets too, I would never vote Labour again the way I feel about at the moment, it has taken the value out of people life's with its war mongering and conservative issues.

the people who founded the labour party years ago saw a political party that cared about the working class people setting up the nhs,the benefits systems etc but they have managed over the years to destroy themselves and the british people, nobody within the present day party can tell you what their real policies are because they are more concerned with their personal beliefs rather than those of the people, years ago they used to ask the public what we thought, yet how often does this happen, all they want to do is bring in thousands of new useless laws and create a wider gap in society.
New labour is all about personalities rather than politics for the good of the country and, they cannot make any decisions without consulting the americans, now the government is all about bringing in more revenue to finance overseas ventures, and wars
we are taxed on everything, and are non stop being told lie after lie,
we need a government who will be more open and honest, if thats possible, bet there is still hope

Cetainly.
The people who fought and died for a democratic government in the first place would be disgusted in the corrupt, self-serving, power-hungry sham that is todays government.

If half as much effort went into running this country as goes into petty bitching and back-biting, Britain would see a marked improvement.
