You'll know if you have one.

Easy question...do you pay less than $30/month for Internet?

Another one:...when you get online, do you hear whistling & screeching?

If you've answered "yes" to these questions, then congratulations...you DON'T have broadband internet. You would have "Dial-Up".

basically a broadband internet connection needs a cable modem. usual dial up connections dont need this, they just need a common internal or external dialup modem.
u just chek wut kind of modem you hav.

another important point is that broadband connection will offer a very higher internet speed thatn dial up.....

just chek your internet speed....... if it is something above 75-100 kbps , u have a broadband connection.

kbps stands for kilobytes per second

broadband connections will take only less than 2 - 5 seconds to load a web page, so obviously u will kno wut kind of connection do u have

you may do quite some issues for a wifi signal. attempt making a windsurfer reflector (google it). Get a extra appropriate router. attempt a Netgear WNDR3700. solid for the cost and massive signal means.
