Don Quixote de la Mancha, by Cervantes.
I read it in the same Spanish he wrote it in. Excellent work.
My favourite book in English is the translation of Gulag Archipelago by Sohzenitsyn.
My favourite work of English literature is David Copperfield, by Charles Dickens.
My favourite book in French is a tome of Rimbaud's poems. Favourite novel is Le Rouge et le Noir, by Stendhal. Have not read the latter in English, though I intend to do so.

Best professional book I've read is "Good to Great". Sorry, can't remember the authors name. It's a favorite among many companies trying to re-invent themselves or get back on track after a period of stagnation.

There have been lots. David Bach's "Start Late, Finish Rich," Suze Orman's "The Road to Wealth," and right now rereading Nicholas Bade's book, "Marketing without Money." I am really into business, personal finance, computers, and other non-fiction topics.
