You will get there, just have fun and in time you'll look and your level will start climbing. Answer well to get 10 points for Best answer at least once a day and you'll be there in less then a week. To reach level 2 you must have 250 total points. If you drop below that you will again be on level one. You may answer and vote on 20 questions a day giving you 2 points and 1 point respectively. Once you reach level 2 you will be able to rate others with a thumbs up or down but you will receive no points for that. You will get nothing but your own satisfaction for reaching the next level and helping others in the process.

I have seen your profile. you are participating since Aug,24 and just answered 25. This way you can not change level. Try this
1) Answer 20 question dally. Whatever you be right/wrong it will bring 40 points
2) use all the 20 vote daily. I think you will be right at least 10.
3)choose the best answer of your question by own it will bring 3 points.
4)Dont post unnecessary questions.
If you follow this you will advance in a week.

Dont follow the level. Let the level come to you. Alywas try to provide good and honest answer. People will rate you and you can go to level 2 or higher soon.

I hate to break it to you, but nothing happens at level two...or three...or four...or any other level.
You just get to answer more, ask more, vote more, and get frustrated more. :-)
Don't worry, though, you'll get there eventually.
