it totally depends on company and profile of the company in which u are going for an interview. If you are MBA student then definetly ur dress should be formal. You can try light and sober colour of shirts, dark pants according to the color of shirts and a tie, with black well polished shoe. Go for a hair cut before a week. clean shaved.Cut ur nails.and dont forget to add attitude and confidence on your face.
Best of luck

Definitely go with the grey suit, and dark tie, or maroon one, and a white shirt. First Impressions are very important. Don't forget to shine your shoes, a good pair of brown ones and you'll look great.
good luck

Formal wear for men includes
1.trousers may be black/brown/grey whatever colour u like... plated trousers look better
(please avoid stipes/checks/designs!
go for plain as far as interviews are concerned)
2.light colored shirt, properly ironed (full sleeve preferably)
3.a tie( not too showy, just plain, preferably in single or maxm two colours )if u like u can also sport a small tiepin, again see that it is not too showy!
4. a coat if the season permits
-->Shoes must be black/brown and clean and polished!
socks must be white and without much design...
-->shoes/sandals (for girls) shudnt make noises while walking
-->girls must wear a simple kurta-churidaar/sari/western formals(similar to men)
-->>do not wear lots of accessories(real/artificial) like gold chains and rings and bracelets... simple elegant earings(not danglers) are ok for girls
"boys--cut ur hair short! keep ur nails clean and take a proper bath and wash ur hair, oil them if they are messy to keep them in place!"
wear a simple watch, and keep a pen or two in ur pockets which are not too showy or too simple, THEY MUST be in working condition ;-) !
and whatever u chose must be comfortable enough for u!

In the U.S. you would definitely wear a suit and tie for an interview, if you are a male. If female, you need the suit, pumps, and nylons, but definitely no tie!
