It's quite handy for watching things you might have missed, as well as 'bring back the past'!

Its useful when there is nothing on the other channels. Bruce Springsten's song springs to mind - 56 channels of sh1t on the TV and nothing to choose from.
I have to admit that I watched the old Rebus last night. It was so long since I saw the original I had forgotten most of the plot. I still think that Ken Stott fits the role far better than John Hannah. John always comes over as being to soft. Ken on the other hand is made for the part. What does anyone else think?

Well everybody has their own genres they like. Each different channel tries to find a niche to get a good audience. So probably your Dad just loves the type of shows they have on ITV3...

It's mainly elderly people who watch it. I know this because I worked for SKY - "Grenada Plus" was shut down, and incorporated into ITV3 - this meant 3 weeks of OAPs' phoning in saying "Where's us Plus? It's the only one we watches!"

Sometimes its nice to watch programmes that had at least half an ounce of quality.
Even if they are 20 years old.
It beats 'celebrity turd painting with Ant & Dec'
