HIgh school is pretty cool that is where you are going to make real freinds. This is where you let all of your talents show. It is bigger thatn junior high but think about it you are moving to bigger and better things. If thier is any advice i can give is that many people are going to try and peer preasure you to skip school and smoke and stuff like this dont do many people start doing this to make new freinds but then they are left with no freinds and are stuck in trouble with the sschool bad grades and with your parents thier are going to get after you. I know i learned who my freinds were. I was in football then baseball. Many of my fellow jocks got me introuble and i couldnt play the sports ( no pass no play ) soon after that i started to realize to kinda stick to myself ofcourse were not going to be loners but hey doing things by your self is good i mean taking ashower no one is bothering you, watching tv noe is bothering you, eating chiken nuggets no one taking any away, doing your home work you can concentrate many things but the most important is facing your fears like you and this new high school thing your alone in class so what you can concentrate better when you do it alone and facing fears alone makes you a better and independant person. But at least you can always see your friends after school and between classes and in the hall ways or gym class and better yet me and my friends used to tell each other and give our assingments to one another during the next class period while walking in the halls we never had a class together but we treaded work before we got to the other class it was cool.

Do not worry, I am sure the next few years are going to be the best of your life. I know change is hard but you will meet new friends and learning is not that difficult. Just do the best you can and no one can ask for more then that. You will do just fine. Just do your best and think of this as something new and fun instead of thinking of all the problems you might face. My son had the same worries and he loves school and has found some great friends. Just walk into school with a big smile on your face and your head up. Good luck!

You will be fine...keep studying(maybe have the friends over that you can't see so much so you can help each other study),get your homework done(if you don't understand something, ask your teacher, that is partly why they are there),behave yourself(don't give your teacher a reason to be strict with you),and lastly realize that your new classes give you a great chance to make new friends.
Remember, you are not the only one that feels like this, but it will pass.
Good luck to you,and enjoy your school year.

That is one day that I will not forget. Walking into my homeroom and looking at the other students. I thought I was in the wrong room because everyone had matured over the summer.
Your anxiety is normal but not necessary. Most of the students in your position feel the same. You are going to have so much fun. New friends will come so easy. Let us know how it goes.

Almost everybody goes through these same feelings. It's not like you think it will be. You'll do just fine. Don't listen to all that garbage like the teachers are more strict and everything. There is very little truth to it.

Come on Hon...its time to grow up. You are facing what every body faces at this stage in their life. There is no formula or trick to learn...you just wake up each day and go to school. Focus on your class work...let that come first. Sooner or later you will become more adjusted and you will be fine. Trust me.

You have nothing to worry about, make sure you read the chapters everyday if not ahead of time. That's the best thing you can do to yourself. Read ahead and do homework, everyday. You will sure to get A's.
