Why are girls embarrassed to be naked? I know guys might be cause of all the "how big your thing is" jokes. But girls are pretty much all the same (unless they're menstrating). So what is embarrassing? For argument's sake lets say they aren't fat, and they are only nude from the waist down.

Trust me, most girls are not embarassed to be naked, either alone or with others, or in appropriate public places. I've gone to the nude beach many times in the past four years and on many days there are more of us (girls) there than guys. It's really a mistake to believe that girls today are shy or overly modest about getting naked...most of us really like it! We're frequently the first to get naked in a friend's pool or hot tub, and the guys, of course, follow suit right away.
Thankfully, society is becoming more OK with casual nudity, which is great.

Depends on what company they are with.
I am a girl, I use to change in locker rooms all the time..we have no problem being nude.
Also, if you look carefully, we have no problem being seen nude while trying on cloths, in fact the sales lady often assist with lingerie purchase. I mean they would come in and adjust your bra for you...again..its routinely done.
But if they are with guys...than it often becomes a sexual appeal issue..perhaps they are insecure about their attractiveness, or simply don't want horny guys to drool over their boobs.

The nature of a woman is to reveal herself when she is ready to receive. Guys don't often understand this because they are always ready to give, but a woman will open like a flower when it is time to pollinate. Girls have a lot of decisions to make. They have to choose the right guy because their whole lives will depend on that choice.
So the answer is that they are not embarrassed to be naked, they are just not yet prepared to reveal the secret mysteries of their depths. But give it time. The flower will open and silk will fall to the floor.

Anyone, DECENT would be embarrased to be nude in a civilised society (we are not in the stone age any longer to go about half or totally naked..)........ be it a guy or a girl.

girls are made by society to be forced to be perfect. this makes girls more self conscioius than guys so most girls who have respect for their body dont like to expose themselves vulgarly. there are some of course who would get naked no questions asked lol. they are usually confident with their bodies

God has created human lıke that.Boys or girls get shamefull when they are naked.Did you thınk why anımals arent wearıng any suıt? Because God created them lıke that.They dont feel cold
and shame.İf you also dont feel you are alout to lıve same as them too.Alaska or Sibiria very very cold but all anımals can lıve wıthout clothes can you do the same?
