got married last week, walked in to 'At Last' by Etta James, romantic song with a good intro to catch everyones attention. also a bit of humor in there as it will be the longest 10 minutes of your fiances life waiting for you to come in, our photographer thought it was brilliant, a song made for weddings. additional humor for us as we'd been together 8 years and engaged for 51/2 before we made it down the aisle!
if your stuck for the other end of the ceremony we used 'you're my best friend' by queen, but were tempted by 'you are the sunshine of my life' by stevie wonder.
i think it depends on the ceremony, ours was a civil one in a hotel, you may want something more traditional and regal sounding if its in a church.

My husband and that i did something like this. He became waiting for me on the front of the aisle (no longer in a church, we had a greater casual and non-classic wedding ceremony). as quickly as I got here out, he walked to the top of the aisle to fulfill me, took my hand, and we walked down mutually. the element is even with the undeniable fact that, i've got not got a father in my existence. he's alive and all, yet we now no longer have a relationship. i think of that if I had a rather good guy for a father, i might have enable him walk me down the aisle if that's what he wanted to do. i think of as long as your father's emotions won't get harm, there is not any harm in what you love to do. choose for it!

Elgar Pomp and Circumstance - I think it's March no 5. Or Bach's Prelude No 1 in D Major - get someone to play it on the harpsichord or something for that little bit of difference. It will be beautiful, elegant and timeless and you will never look back and cringe. Nothing can beat really good classical music. The contemporary stuff is really best kept for the reception.

Um, the pedant in me (very strong at this time of the day) says it's not the aisle (they're the bits at the side of the church) but the nave. Pedantry aside, previous answer of White Wedding is perfect. Have a happy marriage!

When i got married, we used the "Prince of Denmark march" for when she walked down the aisle. Since it starts with a strong trumpet it got eveyone's attention. Classic and regal and unique.

Play that Funky Music. You can do the chicken-dance to it as you strut down the aisle.
Or....the YMCA song to get everybody revved up
