The legend of Brockie will live on forever, The King of the Mountain will watch over Mt Panorama forever
This years Bathurst 1000 will be one to remember.
R.I.P Brockie: 1945-2006
For those in American's who don't know who Peter Brock is, He was a Legend in V8 Supercar (touring car) racing in Australia. He was crowned "King of the Mountain' as one of the most famous races of the circut is the Bathurst 1000, held at Mt Panorama in New South Wales. He won this event 10 times throughout his careeer including the Bathurst 24hr race.
He was a Champion Driver and ambasidor to the sport of Motor Racing.

Most Americans have no idea who he is, unlike the "Croc Hunter" who was in our consciousness almost daily. Now if Olivia Newton John were to also die within the next few days, thereby creating the much discussed "death in threes" scenario, then more people might come to learn about Peter Brock.
