your soulmate, supposing there is such a thing, could be a girl, a boy, whatever. before you even have a body you have a soul. it's not limited by a relatively trivial thing such as gender.

Yes, and they don't have to be lovers to be soulmates. My friend's sister and her best friend are the best example I can see. One of them will be thinking of a song in the middle of the day, and the other begans singing it. It's really weird. And there are other things that have similarly happened too.

i'd like to say yes. it seems so ... wrong ... that orientation should keep you from having an enduring and fullifilling romantic and subsequently emotional life.
i'm sure there are plenty who disagree.
