i'm sorry, i made a little bit of my question unclear. i mean does it effect any of your certain muscles that are important to baseball? not necessarily the schedule. i once heard a-rod say that you shouldn't lift too much because you can mess up your rotator cuff. i don't have much knowledge on their workouts and weight lifting but i would like to know more about that.

Wrestling builds strength, speed, quickness, stamina, endurance. it also helps you learn how to think faster. when someone shoots at you your brain must instantly react to spraw so you dont get taken down. its one of the hardest toughest sports ever. the only way it wouldnt help you is if you hurt your throwing arm other than that its only positives

unless you break your pitching or batting arm, it will only give you more strength and stamina...most baseball players and wrestlers do the same techniques to stay in shape (like lift weights)

hope this helps :)
