an adjective DESCRIBES something of it something is gold it can be described as golden
if something shows respect it can be described as respectful
if something causes fright it can be described as frightful or frighting.
A noun is a PERSON, PLACE or THING
if something is comfortable, it causes you something and that is comfort
if something is proud, it displays something and that is pride.
