Students who are displaying their cell phones while riding on a tricycle or jeepney are the most victims of snatching the same. Most of them upon riding are usually taking their cell phones from their bags of pockets, then have text and text and text, that's why snatchers catched them easily.

I hate cell phones, its like nobody wants to talk to whoever is around them so they fake conversations? Perhaps those who carry on conversations in public better start paying attention to others around them? You do know the world never has been a really safe place to be inattentive don't you? Probably not since we have so many cellphone users who think their important because they can talk in public places on them. Like we should respect their assumed right to look crazy? Even you idiots who drive and talk on them should kniow better, but you don't and that you can't get a simple earphone device so you can use both hands to drive safely hasn't sunk in.

Most victimes of cell phone snatchers are people who don't look after their phone properly. They may be students but they can just as well be anyone else.

not all of them are students. I know older people from 30 and above that are victims.

yes. if i was going to steal a phone, i'd look for the easiest target. the easiest target being students.
