The Labour Party are a bunch of babies, the Tories no better and the Lib Dems are a joke. Where's the democracy in that?

That's hard so say, vote them out, but then who do you vote in?? They are all a joke these days. All they seem to do is pander to the lobby groups. How many politicians actually listen and do what their constituants want. No many if any. Just ask a politician what his stance on say abortion is, then ask him if the majority of his constituants wanted the oposite what he wanted, how would he vote in the passing of a bill or law. He would vote his way. What is needed is someone who actually will do what the majority(not the loudest or media savy) want. The problem is he not fit into any current political party, because if you don't tow the line in your party you are ostrasized and ousted. A new party needs to be started like the people party, and lawyers are not allowed to run the outfit. Maybe, just maybe then we could actually have the majorities voice heard. I think as well that if people actually thought their government was listening to them they just might turn up for the vote. The fact that more people vote on x factor and big brother than in a National Election is pretty sad.

If it wasn't such a serious part of our lives we could laugh. I agree something has to be done. Politicians such as labour tend to put the party before politics, and this is wrong they wouldn't have a party if it wasn't for the people voting, they have forgotten that. I used to be a member years ago and got fed up with the cliques, who, when they needed to get something in the manifesto would drag in their old pals, who, never came to ordinary meetings, and no matter how high up the ladder the tricks were all the same. It is up to the people of this country to take more interest in politics, to go to meetings and voice their opinions on the way each party is behaving, otherwise they will continue to do their own thing "on our behalf".

Forget the Word "Democracy" and substitute it with "Duplicity" Btitish Politics are at the mercy of cheap self seeking "Low Intelligence" Bunglers who feed Lies . Lies and More Lies to cover up their Lack of ability to carry out their Responsibilities , the days when "Integrity" played a major part in the lives of Politicians have Long Long Gone = "Tell Em anything" they can,t do anything about it" is the thinking , the Geniune Members of Parliment , and there are Plenty, are sidelined by the Rotten Cliques , who don,t give a Damn for the people who elected them , sadly , tragically ,the self seeking , self important cretins ,seem to Rule the Roost, at the Moment , the one thing we can pin our hopes on is "Cometh the Hour Cometh the Man" will once again play it,s part in our Lives and save Great Britain from Total and Irresiversable Disaster, which is being created by the Rotten Enemies within our once great country , ==Restoring our Pride ,Self Respect, and Freedom ,from the Disasterous situation in which we now find ourselves.

What really annoys me are the people who do nothing, and then complain and moan about it.

Write to your MP/councillors. Form your own party.

Join a constitutional reform group, we are far too centralised as a country and need to put more power, tax and spending into local councillors hands. Personally I'd like to see Proportional Representation at local level. Far too many councils are guaranteed getting in by first past the vote and become corrupt as a result.

A different way of American rubbish. Coalitons have to be formed and people in the US would have a hard time adjusting.

As we allegedly live in a democracy, use your vote.

I agree its a farce and a shambles at times but what are the alternatives?

It has always been like backbiting and backstabbing you only notice when it is reported to such a large scale such as this week.
