Cod is endangered through over fishing so I now do not buy it. I have switched to Coley but was told that Coley is a sub-set of Cod and is also endangered. Is this correct? If so what other fish could I switch to that isn't over-fished? Many thanks.

Buy fish from local fishermen, that way the traulers that scoop anything out the sea destroying whole communities (or whatever the word is i am looking for) dont get the buisness and you will be healthier for eating food you would naturaly eat and not crap from the suppermarkett.
