Because news companies are only trying to shock the public into buying their news. They sensationalize everything to make it seem worse than it is. Like here they had a story and said something like "There's a new deadly threat to your children! Details at 10." WTF? If it's so important tell us now! And it was nonsense after all. News companies suck.

Because if two papers are sitting next to each other and one has headlines of "Life as usual" the shocker sells off of the stands. It really is consumer driven.
