my music collection.
with over 800 cds, this is by far my most valuable possession. monetarily, lets say each CD was bought at roughly $10. That's over $8000 invested right there, and I guarantee you that I've spent more than that. I've got some pretty rare items too (limited editions of 1000 copies, autographed Cd's and albums. I have to include my vinyl in my music collection as well. It counts for just as much emotionally, if not more, than my Cd's do. I'm always on the look out for things I don't have, and I've been known to buy 3rd and 4th copies of vinyl just because I love the format so much.
The thing that really made me realise just how precious my music collection is too me is when I was forced to leave it behind in Korea when I moved to Japan. As i listen to at least 3 albums a day on most days, leaving my collection behind was akin to loosing a limb. It took almost two years and a very good friend to re-unite me with my collection. I've learnt that it is something that I cannot do without. I've spent much of my free-time backing-up my collection on MD and mp3 to ensure I never will be far from my music again.

My wedding ring. It reminds me everyday of what a wonderful life I have, and how great my husband is. I know that as long as I wear this ring my life is complete and I will never be alone. It is my most valuable material object.

So, whats yours?

A small dwarf that looks a lil like Bill Murray, that I keep in a treasure chest.
I just make him quote Ghostbusters everyday...

Dr Ray Stantz: Everything was fine with our system until the power grid was shut off by dickless here.

Walter Peck: They caused an explosion!

Mayor: Is this true?

Dr. Peter Venkman: Yes it's true.
[pause]
This man has no dick.

In the aspect of what its worth I would say my house. Well the bank owns that. So I would say My 15 yr old sports car. 1991 300zx twinturbo. Its all paid off. Besides that I would say for sentimental value, pictures.

Most valuable posession?

Probably my childhood toys or books or video games or stuffed animals.

All that sh*t got burned up.
Frankly, the only thing I wouldn't throw out the window right now is my truck.

So my truck is my most valuable posession. Without it, I'm immobile.

I think from a point of view of the amount of money spent on research and developememt and training of the surgical staff involved in fitting it, then it would have to be my mechanical Aortic heart valve.
