Some of the plants that do the best for shaded areas are...
aucubas, cleyera, fatsia, fatshedera, gardenias, hollies, hydrangeas, mahonias, osmanthus, and viburnums. Azaleas and camellias do well with afternoon shade.
Some plants that do well in full sun...
abelia, barberry, bottlebrush, boxwoods, quince, cotoneaster, eleagnus, yucca, rose of sharon, hollies, fountain grasses, juniper, crapemyrtles, sage, ligustrums, wax myrtles, nandina, oleander, palms, cherry laurel, yews, pomegranate, piitosporum, pyracantha, hawthorne, spires, lilac.

Cactus, ivy, plamasticus?? I think that's the name, It's a vine. I live in NC and I have these plants.There are a lot of different ones, your best bet is go to a local planetary and get a florist to help you locate the best plants for your yard.

I love Hibiscus plants they are just beautiful and everyone will enjoy there flowers.I have also seen Poinsetta plants they are great.
