Graham Masterton Is a great horror writer. He's written too many good books to name one in particular. Tengu, Devils of D Day, Black Angel, Famine....
The scariest that I have watched... I saw The Exorcist when it first came out.........You would not believe the media hype, at the time. There was stuff about people getting possessed just by watching it. People were scared before they walked into the cinemas!!
Anyone who had been there at the time would have to admit that the exorcist was the scariest movie of all time

My Favorite Horror Movies have to be The Amityville Horror the remake with Ryan Reynolds, Cabin Fever was pretty good I thought it was going to suck, Dawn Of The Dead the most recent one with Ving Rhames, George A. Romero's Land Of the Dead the newer one with John Leguizamo, The Halloween Series except the one that was called Halloween 3: Season of Witches that one was just stupid and not even about Michael Myers, Saw 1 and 2 were good, The Scream Trilogy was good too, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre the one that was made in 2004.

My all time fave is Scream 2. Went to the theater for that one and I loved it. Very tongue in cheek, like all Wes Craven movies. I think the scariest movie I've ever seen was probably Thirteen Ghosts. That one made me jump out of my skin a few times, and the ghosts were hideous. Now that I think about it, that may be my favorite recent horror film.

Mine has to be the Birds! It's so old yet so good! But i'm also a great fan of Freddie so any Nightmaes on Elm Street. Scariest one i've ever seen? Has to be another old one! The fog! May not seem too scray to many but i was pretty young when i first saw it and got the worst possible nightmares about the fog LOL. Many moons later, and now aged 55 ... I still fear the fog!

Jaws has scared be since I was a kid, but it's not really a horror movie! So I would have to say The Original Psycho, The Exorcist, The Bad Seed, and The Ring

Nosferatu - Phantom of the Night, with Klaus Kinski, is my favorite. It's a version of the Dracula story.

The Exorcist and Halloween rate it for me. I can usually watch any scary movie and have watched them but these 2 are the ones which actually had suspense and were scary.
