I'm flying to new dehli in december for my best friend's wedding. i'm travelling on a very tight budget. Can get get some advise on where i can put up for abt 4 days. Of course, it has to be of quality and good value too. i don't need a luxurious accommodation. And also, where can I shop? -Any cheap bazaars?

When compared even to cheaper hotels, youth hostel in New Delhi is prominently located with appreciable quality in accomodation.
Patience is the word, when you go for shopping in India. Just dont get dragged in or taken for a ride. Go to the palika bazaar, chandni chowk, connaught place. In addition, there are international events, connected with Indian crafts.
Buy the local free ads. paper, where you can pick lot of clues and addresses to shop with. Its going to be winter, when you arrive in december. Be sure pack some warm clothing. Hope this information helps you. Good Luck.
