I don't know if you are looking for a specific type of park, like a resort with all the amenities and then some ... but here are a few suggestions:
1) Fort Stevens State Park is a full service, year round campground with beach access. It's a wonderful place to stay, just outside of Astoria. http://www.oldoregon.com/Pages/fortstevens.htm

2) http://sunsetlake.faithweb.com/info.html . A nice quiet place.
3) http://www.kamperswest.com/ My kids really liked this place. Not as much off the beaten path, but pleasant enough.

Why don't you try Astoria Oregon metropolitan area,local camping,hiking,back packing,lakes, beaches skiiing,whitewater.ect.(look them up at Hikercentral.com) check them out.
