Im in a relationship of 3yrs-waking up 1 morning I realised this is not the man I want to spend the rest of my life with. I love him dearly but is that going to be enough? I dont want to waste my time and his if we can maybe be happy with some 1 else.
How do i break it off without him thinking there is some 1 else or be strong enough not to leave it when I see the hurt in his eyes?
Is there an easy way?

Its never easy to break up with someone .. but its better to do it now and with complete honesty.

Of course it's not going to be easy. But you need to sit down with him and explain how you're feeling. Tell him that you can't help it, you've just come to feel differently over time and you wouldn't be happy if you stayed with him. Let him down easily, but make sure he understands and can't ask you any questions. Let him ask questions when you tell him, and answer everything truthfully. But remember how you would feel in his situation and remember, time will heal pain for both of you. It will hurt both of you, but it's better than staying in a relationship you don't want to be in.

i left once in the middle of the night, just kissed her while she was asleep and never came back
there was something wrong with me and where i was so i moved away to somewhere where i felt like i would belong. they say never look back and all that but sometimes i do and remember that i was a different person then. dont wait until the finish line

dont break up with the answering machine or email
do it in person (hurst more but its better to do it this way)
be straight forward with it hopefully he is like me and wont let u see him hurt so that u wont be hurt becuase of hurting him (i do that i hold back all the pain to keep from hurting them)
good luck breaking up is always hard to do

it's hard to end things with someone.
but for ur own happiness, u shld do it. or u will end up regretting it all ur life. mayb u shldnt decide too fast on breaking up with him. tink again about ur decision. tink back on why u love him all those years ago? it might help.

why would you want to break it off....... when you said you love him dearly...... 3 years is a long time .........especially when you have no one in your life ....these days you should hold on to....... a Mr nice guy...trust me not many left.......don't destroy what you have build in 3 years .....good luck
