Okay, anyone noticed a lot of music videos today have a lot of things going on as far as the camera goes? Every 1-2 second the camera is somewhere else. I don't know what to call it when the camera is moving from place to place. Am I the only one who is highly irritated by it and thinks that music videos will be better without all of that? Especially when dancing is involved, they never show the whole body anymore, just part of it, or they just focus on a face, a boob, tummy, or booty. Totally weird question but I am wondering if anyone else noticed this also. Compared to a lot of great music videos from a long time ago and now, today there is A LOT of camera "movements" (or w/e.)

you've just noticed that? it really irritates my eyes. It's always in tv shows, but it's better when the camera just zooms like they do sometimes in the simpsons.

I guess it doesn't bother me that much but I also was the child of young parents when MTV came out. I remember videos that made no sense such as the "Sledgehammer" video. I really liked it as a young child.

I guess they take hip-hop literally when they make videos.. the cameraman has a hip here.. a hop there.. unfortunately the camera also jumps with him... ;-)
