bullshit!

it takes a while for the testes to prepare the sperm, but they do it on a continuous basis, so any sperm that comes out during ejaculation is fine and can fertilise an egg, if there is one around. It's a bit like cars, if you want: it can take about 2 months to build one, but the ones you see at dealers are fully fonctioning (most of the time).

3 to 5 days is the average life expectancy of sperm cells in the woman's body. So if there is intercourse, the sperm can wait for 3 to 5 days for an egg, and if no egg comes, the sperm dies. This is why you can get pregnant having had intercourse on, say, your 9th day (after the 1st day of the previous period), and no intercourse after that, even though the ovulation will take place only on the 14th day or so.

apparently in very healthy young men, sperm can survive up to 8 days...

well women are actually only fertile a bout 3 days out of a month but men are fertile most the time. If a man goes without having sex for a few days his sperm count builds up. The doc will tell you if you are trying to have a baby do not have sex everyday and mainly have sex when the women is fertile which means knowing when she ovulates and tracking it.I did a little research back a few years ago so some stuff may have changed who knows! It takes a couple on average a year to get pregnant when they are trying to conceive according to statistics.

A man that is not sexually active has wet dreams (whether he dreams or not) every 3-5 days to refresh his supply.
One of the reasons people that are trying very hard to get pregnant is that they are too stressed about it. Stress actually lowers fertility for both sexes. Relax and copulate like you did before you wanted kids.
Having sex often does NOT make it harder to get pregnant - it makes it more likely. That is an urban legend. It is based primarily on the fact that unmarried women/girls that are sexually active are far more likely to use birth control than those who "accidentally" have sex on occassion.

thats not entirly true the reason u don't always get pregnant is because u have a very lessen chance of falling pregnant when u have not yet ovulated because there is no egg for the sperm to fertilize. So u could have sex unprotected many times if u have not yet ovulated and the chances of falling pregnant are very slim

Not true. Men create sperm all the time. When you ejaculate that doesn't stop the assembly line. Men will always have a ready supply ever time they are ready to have sex. The more you have sex the more chance you will have to get pregnant. A woman has to be ovulating.

It has been observed that when a male is away from his mate for a period of time his sperm count rises. Scientists believe this is defense mechanism left over from primitive time when females would have sex with multiple partners--due to the subjogation of the female species in these times. The more produced, the better chance of impregnating.

Your friend does not know what he is talking about. What he is saying has nothing to do with a woman getting pregnant.

Sorry!
