in mst cases in north india whr i think its mst prevelant (no idea if m rt or not).....it shld be a capital punishment.....knw y cz since the last weak i hv been reading news whr 3 yr old n 5 yr old r being raped n killed n evn i'm nt tht old so i can realise wht it must feel lyk whn at 10 or 15 ur life has stopped ( a coutry lyk india doesnt really accept the person well after smthin like this n plus the mentality which makes gurls guilty thmselves) thr r tymes whn at 10 a gurl doesnt evn knw wht a rape is so jst think if it was not ur daughter or sis but u at 3 raped n thn left on the road half killed.......

It depends on type of crime. If rape is with innocent girl child by adults & further murder then death punishment must be there.
If it is with grown up girl/woman. Then it should to be investigated. But punishment to be severe as life time jail or or making him impotent so person is unable to carry out sex in future.
There should be fear to do rape among Rapist.

Ok, you said death penalty. What if the rapist is a tennage boy?
Everyone should be given a chance to get to right path in life.
Death penalty should only be for hardcore rapists who commit the offence 2nd time.
Many time women frame innocent men in rape charges. Then?
Law is more lenient towards women. Hence many times it will be innocent men who will suffer.
