Mother is quite ill with many different issues..the main one is Fibromyalgia, and severe abdominal pain, bleeding, swelling, etc..she recently has started to experience feces being excreted out of her vagina & I'm wondering if this is affiliated with a disease, or if this can occur with a tear in the abdominal wall. She is on many different medications and has recently been on morphine for the pain. She suffers from IBS, Fibromyalgia, Depression, and is on many different medications for all.

Yes, sounds like a fistula. All sorts of problems, minor to serious could occur. Call the Dr. asap because you don't want her to get sepsis or any infections.

From your question it is not clear whether you have shown your mother to doctor and taken treatments. The symptoms mentioned by you are serious and I am unable to connect it with any disease. Feces coming out means the disease is in advance stage. May be she has not noticed earlier about bleeding etc. Fistula formation generally happen as one of the after effects of Radiation (Radiation Proctities) given for Cervix, Uterus of colon/intestine cancers.

Yes, I have Crohn's Disease (IBD not IBS) and it is very, very possible that it is a fistula - an abnormal opening which can be caused by the ulcers in the intestines tunneling their way through to other organs. Fistulas are extremely painful and she needs to be treated ASAP. Good luck!

This condition is recto vaginal fistula mainly due to obstetrical injuries but rarer causes are tuberculosis, carcinoma of the vagina or carcinoma of the rectum.Sometimes also due the infection in an anal crypt with resultant abscess formation after which the abscess bursts into the vagina

Look dear,It seems that it suffers from agenesis & atresia of the rectum which is associated with abnormal communication between vagina & rectum [rectovaginal fistula] causing faeces to come out through vagina ,but if the condition is recent ,I'm afraid to say it may be caused by recent obstruction of rectum associated with fistula due to any cause may be neoplastic,so I advise u to have endoscope of lower GIT to make sure all is right & exclude possibility of tumours & if it were only a fistula ,it will need a surgical interference to reconstruct two separate passages betwen rectum &vagina.I hope I could help.

Those parts are not supposed to connect. She needs medical care. Infections, septic shock...time to be very carefull.
After that (cause she really needs to see a doctor) see if any of these sound familiar. Look for Fibromylgia, IBS, and depression.

Your mother is in a serious trouble. Please get her hospitalised immediately. Her kidney is probably affected. You need not to have so many medicines. First treat the vagina discharge of feces. It may not be feces.
