Where might I find some food focused tours in Tokyo? What I have in mind would be a walking tour of sorts that would take people to food markets, shops and restaurants throuout Tokyo. Since I don't speak Japanese, a tour in English would be important. Any tips, links, etc... would be appreciated. I would even take some tips on neighborhoods to focus on for a self guided tour.

It offers a variety of classes, plans and tours, in English - that may be what you're looking for.
Hope this helps!♡

The Tsukiji fish market is popular with tourists, the market goes from about 05:00 to 09:00 and there a lots of good sushi places in the neighbourhood. If you want fugu, you could find it there as well. Kappabashi is where all the restaurant supply shops are. You can buy those plastic models of food there. Ogikubo in west Tokyo is considered the place to go for ramen in Tokyo, although the ramen museum is in Yokohama. The classiest restaurants that serve the Japanese equivalent of haute cusine-ryotei, tend to be in Akasaka, but you need reservations and lots of money for those places. It's a very good question if there are specialized foodie tours. I don't know of any, but I guess if you know what you want and do some research you may be able to do OK on your own.

I have seen that kind of tour several times on TV.
it seemed like a package tour (looked expensive too).
Ask local travel agency?
