What does it matter who you like? Just be nice to everybody, or be prepared for them to not like you.

I suspect it's got something to do with previous experience. For example, I know a guy who really likes girls who wear blouses that button up the front. It's obvious he had a really great experience involving this once, and it's stuck with him ever since.

For brunettes, you probably knew a really great brunette or two, growing up.

I imagine it's impossible to get rid of this compulsion... but it doesn't mean you'll then have to avoid, say, redheads....

Are you asking whether or not you are predjudice because you exclude other choices? If we mixed all races together what would humans look like? In a politcally correct world we are to be color blind. I feel it is a personal choice to select what we want, not what others choose for us. It should be a normal choice to select whatever we want selectively and exclusively if that is the choice. We all pick and choose whether it is approved by others. Make your own choice don't let others decide for you. Diversity unfortunately is preserved by being exclusive. Sorry but diversity is another word for equal but seperate. Diversity is division. Diversity is a spectrum of races, creeds and colors that make the world divided, different and interesting. Nature allows for non diversity by humans being able to mate with other races, creeds, and colors. What comes out of it is whatever we get which is less diversity.

well if you want it go for it, why should we all vary? I like a nice guy, huh not many left at my age who aren't married so you step down to the next level, and so on and so on, brunettes, blondes in the end we all want what we want where it is and how it is handed to us, trust me no one has a preference when the universe takes hold

Well if someone only likes brunettes, but is mentally attracted to a blonde, he can always buy her a pack of hair dye.......

And it is true, we cannot help what we are most attracted to, but in reality, how many people are with what they would consider "their type".

So they should go for it! Havign said that ... I love tall men with long dark hair and my partner is only 5 foot 8, grey hair! Yet of all ... I love him to bits because he makes me happy so you see ... Maybe you can look at brunettes, fancy them to then one day meet a blondie/redhead, fall madly in love with her!
