If you are talking about the IE address bar then buddy theres no way you can delete a single address from it you will have to delete the whole list and tell u what just by deleting the history doesnt delete addresses you typed in the address bars it will just delete the address that had been opened implicitly but the addressed you type are to be deleted by going to the "Content tab" from "Internet Options" and choose autocomplete and then there you delete the addresses and there is no way you can just delete a single address from the address bar list however its nowhere possible with even any kind og browser whether its Mozilla firefox or Avant or Opera or Netscape no browser have such facility. but you can delet the whole history.

Get a copy of Trackseraser Pro. You can make a list of sites you can exclude with it. It also erases the history, empties the recycle bin, cookies, etc. It also does some custom stuff. A real nice program. Cleans up alot of space on your hard drive too. Try downloading it from wherever or from Trackseraser Pro website. Don't listen to amateurs like some of the above that don't know you can do anything you want with the right software. Don't listen to the below answers either. Tracks eraser wil let you clear the history and still have the excluded sites in the Tracks eraser program that will still exclude the unwanted websites even after emptying the History. Once you empty the History files you will be back to square one again so don't listen to dummies. Get a program that will save selected websites for further exclusion each time you access the internet. No one is going to go through all the History to delete one website and save hundreds more. How stupid. Get Tracks eraser.

Go to the History folder. If you are using WinXp, then the location of the History folder would be:
C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\History
You can see the visited web-sites day-wise. Select the one you would like to delete and then delete.

If you are in Internet Explorer I am pretty sure you can right click it and press Delete. Or if that doesn't work and you absolutely have to get it gone you can delete the history then manually go back and visit the sites from before.
