I find what ever site I go to there seems to people making jokes and talking ill of Steve. This is someone Husband and someone Father. I makes me angry. Yes I know everyone entitled to their freedom of speech, but this man was out there to teach us about the animals that need us to save there planet. Respect is what we should be showing his family. In times like this people need to follow the one golden rule in life: If you can say anything nice, then dont say anything at all.

Angel eyes, I am as sick as anyone can be about it, Feel free to check my profile, Every rude, distasteful comment has gotten a mouthful from me.
I believe in your golden rule..
He was such a great man & i know everyday people die who leave behind wifes & children,
But everyday people haven't achieved what Steve Irwin has, He put Australia on the map, people dind't know who our prime minister was but they knew who Steve Irwin was,
He didn't change the world, But he made a HUGE difference, and for those of us who cared about him he has impacted our lifes greatly.. Children even looked up to him as a "superhero".
The saddest thing is the world has lost a son, there willl never be a man with so much charisma and passion, as Steve irwin,
My heart goes out for his family.. I hope Little Bindi & Bob will continue his legacy..

Thanks for posting this, Its refreshing to see someone else who cares,
God Bless xx

Thank you...finally someone who has some compassion for this man and his family.I truly believe that those who are being so cruel have the mentality of an 8 year old.Our society is falling apart, and these rude comments just prove it.People aren't taught morals and values anymore, such a sad situation. If it was their family that everyone was commenting about,I wonder if they would think it was so funny then.Makes me angry and very sad as most of the rude comments are coming from my fellow Americans.

I didnt know there was any jokes out there about him. Im not surprised though with the way society is these days. Thats just sick to think his older daughter could run across one on the internet. People should be ashamed of themselves. He died doing something he loved and taught alot of people the most wonderful things about animals that we may not of ever known about otherwise. I wish his family well and feel they deserve everyones deepest respect.

Your right, but the baseness of human nature will prevail, I was hearing jokes the day after the Space Shuttle exploded.Surprisingly not a one yet about the twin towers.

You are true to your nick name.

It is sick to talk of ill about the death of the Crocodile Hunter. I don't know what he has done, to get these comments. He has sacrificed his life to let other people know about the animals and their behaviour etc. In such times, we have to condone the death and console the bereaved family. It is human, that we behave properly in such times.

I'm sick to the bone of sick people period. The world is full of them and unfortunately we are exposed to many here on the net. But that's life and the way of this world. There is good and there is bad, and we all just lost a good one.

AS FAR AS THE INBRED REDNECKS THAT ARE MAKING THESE JOKES GROW THE F*** UP I THINK IT IS APPALLING THAT PEOPLE WOULD CRITICIZE THE DEAD ESPECIALLY SOMEONE AS FASCINATING AS STEVE IRWIN HE HAD MORE COURAGE THAN MOST OF US I HAVE HEARD PEOPLE SAY THAT HE WAS ASKING FOR IT FIRST OF ALL WHO THE HELL ASKS FOR SOMETHING LIKE THAT SECOND OF ALL IT WAS A FREAK ACCIDENT HE HAD NEVER BEEN SERIOUSLY INJURED IN HIS ENTIRE CAREER NOT EVEN BIT BUY A VENOMOUS SNAKE
GOD BLESS TO THE ENTIRE IRWIN FAMILY AND TO ANYONE THIS AMAZING HUMAN-BEING TOUCHED

I think your statement at the end of your question says it all and I don't think it could be put any better. It is appalling to think there are any jokes fullstop. Lets hope Peter Broke doesn't suffer the same cruel behaviour.

The jokes show a lack of maturity and respect.

However, some people cope this way too.

I wish they would keep their crap to themselves. My heart is bleeding for Terri Irwin at this time.

I would hate to be in her shoes.
