Well if they are the "love" of your life, doesn't that imply that they make you feel good about yourself and your relationship? Therefore I would assume that would be a blessing as opposed to being with someone who makes you miserable.....When you find someone who you think is the right person but turns out to be the wrong person and you find yourself stuck in a loveless marriage, then you are truly "damned"........

I was damned. I met her after her husband left her and we became friends. She needed somebody to talk to.
We were friends for 1 year and we finally had our first kiss.
It came time to get a divorce and she backed out.
Stupid me hung around for more and she finally cheated on me because I wouldn't put her family first.
