They have a good receiver and running back, but thats it. Their coach is horrible and so is their QB. Aaron Brooks is probably the worst starting QB in the league. I would be surprised if they win more then 4 games this year.

I agree whole heartily. In fact if the Raider do win 4 games, Art Shell should be considered AFC coach of the year.
Art Shell isn't a bad coach, but it wasn't Al Davis' first choice for a head coach. He wanted Ken Whisenhunt, offensive coordinator for the Steelers for the head coaching job, but was turned down to stay in Pittsburgh. Al Davis messed up big in losing out on the better coaching candiates by gambling on the one man who he wanted to have the gig.
The Raider are a mess. Only the 49ers are in worse shape than this team. This team has been poorly run by Al Davis since he ran off John Gruden. They have drafted poorly. Very poorly. Their offense is abysmal. It is only going to be worse with Aaron Brooks as your starter. This was one team who should have drafted Matt Leinart but drafted for defense again instead. How desparate must you be when you are bringing in Jeff George to backup QB? LOL
Let's not forget they play in a very tough conference where 11 wins may not be good enough for the playoffs.

INBRED VIOLENCE; Its really very simple. That teams followers carries with it a host of Gang-Banger Mentality, I wouldn't look for anything different in the next century or so, ha ha. Just take a look at whose wearing the jerseys,,, Even though OAKLAND is now home to the Raiders - LA still claims them, and long with the roughest from the (streets) everywhere near-by, including (Compton, Pomona, South Side, Watts, Elserino, etc) embrace this team, expect nothing less. Just saying.

You can't say their coach is bad.
The Raiders have drafted poorly for several years. They also tend to draft defensive backs and you need a good front 7 on your defense to be good. Their poor drafts have killed them.
Their move from Oakland was something they never recovered from and they will never see the glory days again.

Their OL is bad and their defense is very suspect. Maybe their young players will get better. They do have history of reclamation projects. So maybe Brooks can have a big year. I think Shell can turn it around, but it will take time. They need better personnel decisions. Davis should quit trying to make decisions. I think Michael Huff will be a good one. They have some talent, but it will take time.
