You can grow cherry tomatoes from seed. Just buy some and cut open scrape out the seeds and let them dry out for about a week then bury the seed about a 1cm deep water and keep in a sunny place.

ive done that once. i planted a lemon and grew a little lemon tree. but a damned myna bird ate it.
